Tim Hockenberry: "Back in Your Arms"

Bay Area singer-songwriter Tim Hockenberry has made a number of appearances at the Rrazz Room and its predecessor, the Plush Room, but don't expect a lot of Cole Porter and the Gershwins on his first album, "Back in Your Arms." When he's not performing his own soft-rock tunes, such as "This Time by Me" and "100 MPH," his tastes tend toward Dylan ("Howlin' at Your Window"), Springsteen ("Back in Your Arms") and Lennon-McCartney ("Girl"). Hockenberry's voice is about as far from a typical lounge sound as, well, Tom Waits or Joe Cocker.
